Welcome to my art gallery!

Here I will post updated paintings and information on all of my artwork including Oil Paintings, Acrylic , Slate Paintings (Welcome Signs and equestrian), Watercolors and all other mediums I will be creating with throughout the year.

All of my artwork is available for purchase by contacting me via email at susanclement@comcast.net  for original artwork  or as prints or prints on canvas (if available).

The lovely painting to your right is called “Moments of Wonderment”.   The original can be purchased by contacting me via email. Original size is 4 ft. x 3 ft. on stretched canvas (unframed).artistwithmow

I also accept commissioned work. If you have a photograph of something you would love to hang or display in or on your home, forward it to me for review and I’ll be happy to give you a quote for a completed painting. Note: Slate Paintings are durable and painted to last outdoors or indoors.
“Welcome” Slate Signs originally painted by the artist and signed. New Slate Signs are being added weekly. These hand-painted slate welcome signs make great gifts for Realtors to give to their home buyers as well as anyone who loves to hang a welcome sign outside of their home or garden!

My Vision as an Artist

I prefer to paint in oil but do use other mediums when creating as well including watercolor and acrylics. My vision is to draw the observer into my landscapes and still life paintings so as to  feel like they are there seeing the same thing I see and often times like they are in the painting itself.  I prefer to use vibrant colors to express the beauty I see as an artist and in the world around me in most of my works but sometimes I like to tone it down a bit to give the painting a more calming effect.

My style is more of a combination of realistic, impressionism and expressionism although I do like to create abstracts at times. Many of my works are set in a natural setting using natural forms but I like to use light and color to bring out the mood and create an emotional impact.

I infuse Color, Beauty, Feeling, Spirituality and even a bit of Mystery at times into my work.  These words describe my work and the vision I have for all the pieces I create. If you can see this in my work and are drawn to it for any of these reasons, than I have succeeded.
